Bio: In my junior year of high school, somebody started "preaching" at me, or so I thought. I had been raised Roman Catholic and was pretty happy where I was spiritually. Truth is, this person made me mad, at least at first! After being challenged by her to read the Bible, I began to see that though I had religion in my life, I really didn't have a Savior. While reading the Gospel of John, I received Christ as my Savior. Soon I found myself enrolled in college where I met the love of my life, my wife, Terri! Four daughters and three churches later, I find myself serving now in my tenth year at Grace EFC as senior pastor. The girls have all grown up and are on their own, and we are grandparents of two beautiful granddaughters. I'm excited about the things that are happening at Grace Church and I am thrilled to be a part of what God is doing! We want to invite you to come and join us in the excitement.
Director of Worship & Senior Youth Ministries
Bio: I have been attending Grace Since I was in 8th grade and started working here full-time in 2008. I grew up in a great Christian family, although my relationship with Christ didn't fully take off until my senior year of high school. It was then that I really started to make my walk with Christ my own. After a couple of years in community college, I was accepted to the New Life School of Worship in Colorado Springs, CO. After two incredible years there, I came back home to Iowa and got married to my beautiful wife, Megan in July of 2008. Since then we have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Norah and Evelyn. It's always been my passion to connect people to God. I am very excited about what He is leading us to do here at Grace. I hope that you will join us in our pursuit of Him and His will on our lives.
